YouTube offers so much help for the nomadic lifestyle that it’s sometimes hard to find what you’re looking for. There are a lot of channels that focus more on the philosophy behind it all or the adventures people have along the way. Those videos are great and can certainly help you as you get along in your nomadic journey, but if you’re just looking to get started in van life, you’re probably more interested in how to go about your van build.
With that in mind, I scoured every corner of the internet (does it have corners?) to find the YouTube channels that take you along in the build process and let you see what they did right (and wrong) as they built out their van… or buses… or minivans.
Best YouTube Channels for Building Out Your Rig
Most of the channels that follow focus on the prototypical cargo vans that most people think of, but I will include a few channels that feature minivans and shuttle buses because they offer great ideas for van life.
