You just met me and already I’ve deceived you… Nomad? What kind of nomad works a full-time job along with a couple of others just for fun? What self-respecting nomad owns a house and has a mortgage that is ever-growing?
So you caught me. I’m more of a nomad in training. I’m an elementary school teacher who’s got just a few more years to go until my lucrative retirement package will allow me to come closer to the full nomad lifestyle. Check that, my retirement may require me to live the nomad life. But I digress…
Despite my deception, I promise that I have the knowledge and experience to help you along in your journey as I take you along in mine. I’ve owned several campers and even went so far as to build out a shuttle bus before the mechanical side of things started to present too much of an obstacle. I’m also a weekend woodworking warrior who has a decent set of skills that will help in a lot of the projects involved in my future builds.
And of course, I’ve watched countless YouTube videos about all aspects of the nomadic lifestyle. Whether it’s a huge Class A RV or a no-build minivan conversion, I’ve looked into it. I’ll share everything I’ve learned with you and keep learning right along with you.
So now that you’ve found me out, I hope you find it in your nomadic hearts to forgive me and help me explore the various ways we can get to where we want to go.
